2008/2009 Upward Basketball & Cheerleading

The season is almost here, and it is now time to register.

Basketball will be for boys and girls ages K5 (age 5 by September 1, 2008) through 8th grade. The K5 league will be coed and more of an instructional league this year. Cheerleading is for girls 1st grade - 6th grade.

Space is limited this year, so make sure you register early! Deadline for registration is October 11th. Early registration cost per child for basketball or cheerleading is $95. After October 1st the cost increases to $125.

Everyone MUST attend one basketball evaluation or cheerleader orientation. Drop in anytime on the following dates and times:

K5 & 7th-8th grade boys/girls: Thursday, October 2, 6:00-8:30pm
1st-2nd grade boys/girls: Saturday, October 4, 9:00am-12:00pm
5th-6th grade boys/girls: Tuesday, October 7, 6:00pm-8:30pm
3rd-4th grade boys/girls: Saturday, October 11, 9:00am-12:00pm
OPEN – K5 thru 8th grade: Thursday, October 9, 6:00pm-8:30pm

Siblings may attend the same evaluation/orientation.

League Dates Overview:
Practice begins the week of Monday, November 17, 2008
First Game: Saturday, December, 6 2008
Awards Night: Sunday, February 8, 2009
