What To Expect
We know that coming to a new church can be a little intimidating, so we want to make your first time at First City great! At the Alpharetta location, we have live worship and teaching. Our worship is intentionally designed to lift high the name of Jesus. Our teaching is compelling, authentic, and firmly rooted in the Word of God. You can plan on our services lasting about an hour. Our amazing First Impressions Team will be ready to help you with any questions you may have.
Come As You Are
No matter what stage, age, or season you find yourself in, we believe that First City Church is a place you can Discover Hope and Experience Family. When we embark on a journey to pursue a Jesus-centered life together we find victory over past hurt, brokenness and personal struggles. Our gatherings are designed to meet you where you are and help us Know Jesus more deeply. You'll see some people in suits and others in jeans and a t-shirt gathered together.
KIDS + STUDENTS
We believe that kids should look forward to church every single week—and at First City, we make this a priority. Additionally, we make your children’s safety a priority. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our kids and student environments. You’ll want to leave yourself extra ten minutes to get signed in for our environments. If you’d like, you can expedite the process by registering your child online before you show up. Learn more about our Kids + Student environments below.
Our Alpharetta location offers 2 unique worship venues
AUDITORIUM
Our Contemporary service consists of high-energy worship of recent and timeless worship songs. This is followed by a live sermon. The service typically lasts around one hour.
9:30 & 11AM
CHAPEL
Our Traditional service consists of classic worship hymns, as well as a mix of modern choruses. This is followed by the sermon being streamed from the Auditorium. The service typically lasts around one hour.

Parking
We now have both on and off-campus parking options available for you and your family on Sunday mornings! These include our FBCA lots, Wells Fargo, Alpharetta City Center parking deck, and street parking in downtown Alpharetta, accessible by Main and Church Streets. We also have shuttles running to and from the Green Lot. Please let us know if you have any questions!
The Yellow Lot (east side of our campus) projected has been completed and redesigned to enable permanent offsite parking to reach hundreds more on our campus at 44 Academy St! Stay tuned for more ADVANCE updates.
